Gel Nails | Create Perfect Nails Using Nail Forms
Nail forms are easy to use forms for creating sculptured nail extensions. These are generally used by nail professionals, nail technicians and nail salons specializing in gel and acrylic nail applications and sculpting. They are available in 2 types – disposable nail forms and reusable nail forms.
The disposable forms are sold in roll forms of 300 and 500 and even if you make a mistake in your application, there are enough spares for use. These forms have an adhesive backing that allows sticking on the nail surface naturally.
The reusable nail forms are Teflon coated which helps in preventing the gel or the acrylic from sticking and these forms can be accurately placed below the free edge of the nails to provide support while sculpting the gel or acrylic. These forms are made of sturdy metal and have 100% non stick coating. The snug fitting and unique design of these forms conform to the size of every finger creating a beautiful C curve on any nail type without any seepage. These are also easy to fit for faster nail enhancements.
The reusable nail forms are also used for placing, molding, adjusting and making crystal nails without base. They are used for acrylic nail or UV gel to support the model and can be cleaned and used over and over again. These come in a pack of 5 pieces and can be washed in a solution that is recommended by the gel manufacturer. When you are not using them, make sure to store the nail forms in a convenient storage casing.
One can find a range of nail form shapes like arc or the horseshoe form roll, square forms, round nail forms, double thick forms, transparent forms and much more in different colors as well. The horseshoe nail forms are versatile, easy to use and are adjustable. You can effortlessly position them under the free edge and these adjust to any size of free edge quite easily. The press together tabs on this form ensure secure hold of the nail form. The square forms application is quite popular in the US and the nail can be extended without a tip using this form. The round form rolls are also widely used as they fit most nail sizes and shapes.
With nail forms, you can easily create the most natural looking sculptured nails or perfect nails to your liking. You should apply one form on each nail and then dispose them once you are done with your work. Some nail forms also use a metallic finish so that the heat generated through polymerisation can be reflected back and the under side of the nails free edge can be cured better.
To ensure precise application while using any nail form, make sure the form is secure under the nail tip. This will help you get perfect sculpting for your nails and good results.
